When will my order ship?

We're always working to get your orders on their way to you as quickly as we can. Express Post orders will typically leave the warehouse in 1-2 business days, while Standard Shipping orders will be dispatched within 2-4 business days, though there may be some delays around sales and peak periods. Premium gets priority dispatch, and leaves the warehouse the same or next business day. You'll get a notification when your order has started its journey so you can track its progress.

When will my order arrive?

Please allow 2-5 business days for your order to arrive once it has been dispatched. Most of our orders will ship with Australia Post's eParcel service, so you'll be able to track it once it leaves our warehouse, and that service will give you a more accurate estimate for when your order might arrive. If you need your order quickly, you can select Express Post at checkout, which will usually be delivered in 1-3 business days (depending on where in Australia it's going).

Can you leave my order outside my door?

We now send all our Standard and Express Post parcels with Safe To Leave authority, so Australia Post can do contactless deliveries. If you'd prefer the security of a signature, you can change the setting on your delivery through the AusPost app.

Where do you ship to?

Moleskine Australia can only ship to Australian addresses.

Do you ship to New Zealand?

Unfortunately we are not able to ship Moleskine products to New Zealand. Contact local retailers to find out how you can get your hands on a Moleskine product.

What payments do you accept?

We accept Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard and AMEX) and AfterPay.

How long do personalised orders take?

Each customised notebook is created when you order, so this can add some extra shipping and handling time. We recommend allowing an extra 3-5 business days for your personalised order to be on its way to you.

How can I return an order?

If the item you ordered is not quite what you had in mind, contact hello@moleskine.com.au to start the return process, and await a confirmation email from our Customer Service team that will detail where to send your returned product/s. For more information, please see the Returns page.

What are Moleskine notebook and diary covers made of?

Most of the covers in our collections are made from synthetic material. Our hard covers are made of polypropylene, while the soft covers are made of polyurethane. Other collections feature cardboard covers, and some special editions include different materials such as fabrics.

Moleskine's Pride Patches have an adhesive backing, so you simply remove the paper backing and place the patch on your notebook cover. Bear in mind that the patches are not removable once affixed, so choose your placement carefully.

How do you attach Moleskine notebook pins?

Included with each of the metal pins is a small tool and a metal screw to secure the pins to the elastic strap on a Moleskine notebook or planner. Remove the screw with the tool, place the pin over the elastic strap, then re-insert the screw from the reverse of the pin to secure.

What notebooks can I use with Moleskine's Smart Writing Pen?

Because the camera in the Smart Writing Pen picks up an extremely fine set of guide markings to help it accurately map the space and transfer your handwriting to the companion app, it's best to use Smart Writing Notebooks with the Smart Writing Pen to get the most out of it. Using traditional notebooks, or a standard pen with the Smart Writing Notebooks, will mean nothing is transferred to the app.

What do I need to use Moleskine's Smart Writing Set?

In addition to the Smart Writing Set (which includes the Smart Writing Pen and a Smart Writing Notebook), you'll need a device that is compatible with the Moleskine Notes app, available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

What can I do with the Notes App and the Smart Writing Set?

Moleskine Notes helps you turn inspiration on paper into ideas on screen. You can: Digitize handwriting and sketches from your Smart Notebook Modify notes and drawings with powerful editing tools Transcribe your handwritten notes into digital font Export your drawings in vector formats Plan your work or personal events using a Smart Diary/Planner Search within all your notes and events Share notes and sketches with others or upload to cloud storage Simply start writing in your Smart Notebook with your Smart Pen to create an instant digital copy of each notebook page in the Notes App

Is the current Smart Writing Set compatible with previous Smart Writing Notebooks?

The technology has changed substantially for the 2022 Smart Writing Set, so unfortunately the older notebooks are not compatible with the current system.
